Purpose: Recreation & entertainment, attracting people into Reading town centre and increasing footfall for local businesses
In Autumn 2019, we were commissioned by the Reading Business Improvement District to create ‘The 12 Pubs of Christmas’, a Christmas event that was free to attend for the community. It required a table-top, escape room-style puzzle in each of 12 venues around the town. We pitched a design featuring puzzles inspired by each venue building crossed with a Christmassy feel.
Shortly after this first event, we were commissioned to produce a second set of unique puzzles, this time based around the history of Reading. This event ran in October 2022, once again to great customer reviews.
